1st Easter

Jonah met the Easter Bunny today! We also gave him his Easter basket - he especially loved the personalized ABC book from his Great Aunt Beth & Uncle David. He also liked the jelly beans that Mommy made when she worked at Brach's, but he can't eat them this year!

1st Portraits

For our 5 year anniversary, I had professional pics made of Jonah for Pete's present (traditional gift of wood = wooden frame). They turned out really cute! He is one photogenic boy!

Sleepy Boy

This week was a very busy week for Jonah & I. Sunday, we celebrated Grandma Mac's b-day (Happy birthday!).

Monday, I started my part-time work from home (about 5 hours a day, 4 days a week). Twice this week we went on long walks with our new friends Leslie & Trent to Sonic. Yesterday, we went to the play area at the mall with our good friends Kim & Weston.


This morning, we went to a playdate with girls from our meetup group & then to lunch with Brach's friends. After all this activity this week, Jonah could not keep his eyes open during dinner! It was so sweet, and I just had to share.

5 Year Anniversary

This weekend, Pete & I celebrated 5 years of marriage! We had a wonderful time going out (thanks, Mom!) and reminiscing about the wedding & our amazing honeymoon. It's incredible how quickly time flies!

Happy 5 Months!

Jonah turned 5 months old yesterday! He is getting so big and changing everyday. His favorite pastimes this month have included his jumperoo & watching his new fishies swim! He also started rice cereal and some veggies. He especially likes green beans and sweet potatoes. He is a very talkative boy and has also discovered the power of his voice. He loves to squeal and laugh, especially when it's bathtime. :)

Thankful for Family

I know that I am doing a little backwards posting, but I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for family. It has been a very sad start to 2008 with the passing of my dad, but the joy we have with Jonah and all of you helps each day.

Sunday w/ Macs

Jonah had a fun Sunday afternoon with his Grandpa & Grandma Mac & Aunt Rachel. He even sat at the table with us while we ate dinner! Lily could not be left out, so you can also see her under the table.

Snow Day in McKinney!

Jonah experienced his first snow today! He really didn't know what to think - the sun was so bright, and it was so cold. He finally got to wear his winter coat though (in March!).
