Sun City Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebrating with my Grandma (Grammy to Jonah), Mom, Uncle Mike, Melissa & Marco in Sun City this year. We drove down Wednesday night and spent all day Thursday there. Jonah had such a blast running around my Grandma's house getting into all her cabinets, riding the "Rolater", kissing Barney (my grandma's Bishon), and playing in the leaves. He also said "Um-ma" for my mom for the first time which was very special. He crashed on the way home hard (seen in the last pic) since he refused to nap while we were there. There was just too much for a boy to do!

Santa Claus

Melissa & I took Jonah to visit Santa Claus this week to avoid the crowds and get pictures before Thanksgiving to give my Grandma Bess when we visit this week. I was a bit nervous to see how Jonah would react this year now that he is more aware and wary of strangers. He actually took to Santa quite well and even held his hand while we took pictures. He was all smiles! Here is his pic from last year as well as from Monday. Wow! What a difference a year makes. From our little baby boy to our little toddler. He is growing up so fast!

Happy Birthday, Melissa!

Jonah & I are so lucky to have my sister and best friend, Melissa, in our life. She spends one of her only days off with us every week, and it means so much to us!

Happy 25th Birthday, Melissa! We love you very, very much!!!

Weekend Fun

Pete & I took Jonah to the park this weekend, and he had a blast chasing Lily around the field and playing with the ball launcher. It looks like he is Moses parting the sea in one of the pics! :)

We also had fun watching the Longhorns play and beat Kansas!

Rainy Monday

Jonah & I decided to stay in today since it was so rainy & he's had a little bit of a cold. I opened his new Mega Blocks we bought this weekend, and he was in heaven. We had a fun day!

Halloween Festivities

The Macaluso family had a lot of fun celebrating Halloween this year!

Pete & I attended a Halloween party a few weeks ago with friends from my Mommy group. I was a "biker chick" and Pete was the Mac guy. There were slim pickings left at the costume store. hah! :)

Jonah & I went to several Halloween playdates, so of course, he needed more than one costume! Here he is as a shark at his friend Grace's house:

At Tiny Tots music class, all of the kids wore their costumes. So cute!

Here are all the babies at Amanda & Jackson's house. Also, Jonah the Dragon driving a car!

For Halloween lunch, Jonah & I met our good friends Leslie & Trenton for some fun at Chick-Fil-A:

That evening, we met at our friend's (Kim, Weston, & Brandon) aunt's neighborhood for some trick-or-treating. At first, Jonah wanted to grab all the candy, but he soon caught on "just one" and drop it in his bucket. He loved it!

Halloween '07 & '08

Here are a few pics from Halloween last year, and a few from this year - how much Jonah has changed! I left my camera with trick or treating pictures at a friend's house, so I will post those pics ASAP. We switched computers to a Mac, so I am still getting used to the new formats - it's not as easy/ fast for me to post pics anymore.
