7 Month Studio Pictures

So Close

For the past few weeks, Jonah has been working really hard at getting the mechanics of crawling. He has certainly become very mobile using his hands to scoot himself around when sitting. On his tummy, he pushes off with his arms, but until today, did not get his knees up. His end result was moving backwards, which is *not* where he wanted to go! Today, I captured the 1st shots of him on all fours, rocking back and forth. He's almost got it! Watch out, Lily! He's going to come for you first!

Jonah Yells

I know that I have shared Jonah's "yelling" escapades over the last few months with many friends and family. They are usually not angry yells, but how LOUD can I get, yells. It's really funny, even when I am trying to shop at Kroger other shoppers are laughing too. Here is a short video clip where I captured some of these "yells".

New Play Area

We set up a new play area for Jonah this weekend. He loves it, and his friends also had fun playing in it too!

Visit with Cousins

Today we visited Jonah's Gigi (my grandmother), and my cousin Candice & her 2 cute kiddos came too! It was so fun to see the cousins play together!

Play Day with Grandma Mac

Today, Grandma Mac came for a visit and spent the whole day with us! We went to lunch, did some grocery shopping, played, and then had dinner with Daddy & Grandpa Mac! It was such a fun day!

FBA Blog Party

Jonah & I met with fellow FBA mommy friends, Erin & Shannon, and their precious kids, Ryann & Nathan, for some lunch and fun playtime!

Mother's Day Weekend

It has been a very special weekend celebrating my first Mother's Day this year. Jonah is such an incredible blessing in my life, and I am so thankful to be his mommy. I certainly have grown to appreciate my own mother, grandmothers, mother-in-law, and sister as they have journeyed through motherhood before me. What wonderful examples in my life as I continue to learn what it takes to be the best mom to Jonah I can be!

7 Months

Wow! Another month (and week) has flown by! Jonah is now 7 months old. This month Jonah continued to become adept at sitting up, making playtime with friends even more fun!
