Today was Jonah's ear tube surgery day. We had to be at the hospital at 6:30 this morning for a 7:30 surgery start time. He was a very hungry boy since he did not get to eat since 8 last night. When they took him back to the operating room, I cried a bit, but the doctor was back in less than 15 minutes! She took me to the recovery room to see him. He was glad to see me, but very upset from the anesthesia. After being fussy for about 30 minutes, he calmed down and just wanted to play. Pete & I came home and played with him for an hour before he was ready for a nap. All in all, it was a successful morning with minimal trauma for baby and parents. :) Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers!

Hi Melody! I had a reminder set up on my Outlook and have been praying for y'all, Jonah, and his doctor all morning. So glad to hear that it went ok and my fingers are crossed for no more ear infections!!
Glad to hear it went so well! I think these things are always harder on the parents!
Aw...the little hospital gown pics are sweet, but kinda sad! :( Remember that day...I'm so glad it's over with and everything went well! :)
Awww, your sweet little man! I'm so glad it went well!!!!!
I'm so happy to hear that it all went nice and smooth. I remember when they took Landon back for his hernia surgery...I was terrified and the tears were flowing. We have such strong little boys!
